Roll Pin Wizard

I boogered my first attempts at this bolt catch pin, now it’s just personal. Having a tool that’s right for the job seems like the way to go.

I have used this tool with multiple builds, involving multiple parts. It is a great all around tool for anyone building their own. I highly recommend this tool.

Used this to swap out the bolt catch on a couple lowers. Easily removed the old roll pins and installed the new ones with the jig and punch. It was easier even than using the Wheeler bolt catch roll pin punch. With enough use, the plastic jig may wear out, but I imagine you’d have to do a lot of bolt catches to have this problem. Probably only a concern for armorers and gunsmiths, but I even then I suspect it would be worth the cost of periodic replacement. Overall a great tool to have in your kit.

This worked great so I bought a second one for a friend. I did need to clean out the hole where the spring goes though it for the pivot pin. I just used the correct size drill bit and twisted it in the hole by hand and then the springs went through perfectly

It is a real lower saver when installing bolt catch, It is the first one I have done out of 20+ that came out without a scratch, just so I can scratch it later. Highly recommended.

This is by far the best tool for installing the bolt catch roll pin I've come across yet. It is easy to use and the safest for the lowers finish. It's just a great tool, 100%
