I always thought the dust cover assemblies with the insanity small C clamp is the worst design on the ARs. Removing the barrel nut just to slide out the hing bar, just to change out a broken spring is ridiculous. This easy install dust cover is the solution. The spring that comes with it is a much better and stronger fix. Great product!!!
This is a mil-spec dust cover with a spring hinge. It was extremely easy to install. Time will tell if it will hold up. This item is functional on my PSA upper. I must have tried every other QD cover out there. Those with the small spring loaded bearings and thicker profile would not stay closed, regardless of adjustments made. The larger, mil-spec, bearing and thinner profile was the key for me. This item combines the ease of having a QD dust cover with the reliability of mil-spec.
Easy to install, no issues so far, would get another one.
I am ordering more for future builds. This is the only quick attach I have found that works with Nemo receivers. Wish that came coated and in different colors!!

Where have these been for my entire AR-building career? As advertised... took a whole 5 seconds to install. No more messing with that damn tiny C clip! I'm buying more of these.
